Leadership Sandy Springs invites Peter Kageyama to speak on building community

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -- Peter Kageyama, an internationally recognized author and speaker, is coming to dialogue with Sandy Springs with citizens in an event called "Live, Love, Lead...Sandy Springs" about how to build an emotionally engaged city doing ordinary things and, often, through inexpensive means. Kageyama is interested in Sandy Springs’ story and recognizes the city’s potential for becoming an even more liveable, loveable place to live and work.

The Tampa native, who who has been referred to as Urban Cupid, brings experience in guiding communities to create new possibilities for social and economic development, tailoring his ideas to the unique city which he visits. With its recent national recognition as a preferred city for several corporate relocations, Sandy Springs has shown its desirability especially from a business perspective. Kageyama is interested in taking things to the next level and turning the passion from the hearts of its residents into real outcomes, as he has done in other cities around the country.

Following the presentation and dialogue, there will be a book purchase and signing for Kageyama’s two books.

Networking and appetizers begin at 6:30 p.m. and the program starts at 7:15 p.m. at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church, 805 Mount Vernon Highway, NW.

The cost is $25 for LSS members and $30 for non-members. Registration is available at www.leadershipsandysprings.org.
