FMSA Students Raise Funds to Benefit Japanese Victims | Families
Janice Roberts' students at First Montessori School of Atlanta were concerned about the destruction in Japan after the tsunami and asked what they could do to help the victims. One of the ideas the kids had was to make and sell jewelry.
Although it took them a while to make enough jewelry from clay and beads to sell, that's what they did, raising approximately $200 in one day to benefit the Japanese victims.
Located on Long Island Drive in Sandy Springs, First Montessori School of Atlanta serves the needs of students ages 18 months to 14 years old.
