SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -- While Adina Parson clings to life in Grady Hospital, nearly 100 friends and family members gathered outside the Residences of Morgan Falls Apartments on Roswell Road to hold a vigil in her honor.
Parson was found in the breezeway of her apartment building Friday night after witnesses said they heard several gunshots. She was shot several times in the head. She was taken to Grady Hospital where she remains in critical, but stable condition.
Steve Rose, Sandy Springs Police spokesman, said there is no evidence to show a connection with last week's shooting just blocks away in the 1400 block of Jefferson Drive.
Investigators have no motive or suspect in the shooting.
