Women's Business Network Holding Holiday Social

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The Women's Business Network, part of the Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber of Commerce, will host a Holiday Social on Wednesday, Dec. 1.

The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Three Sheets (6017 Sandy Springs Circle NE, Sandy Springs, 30328). It costs $5 to attend. Appetizers will be served.

The Women's Business Network Holiday Social is for women only.

Pub Night for Young Professionals

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- Mix and mingle with area young professionals during Pub Night at the Ship and Anchor (5975 Roswell Road NE, Sandy Springs, 30328) on Thursday, Oct. 28 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

There is no charge to attend. All interested young professionals ages 24-39 are invited to come out for networking and cocktails in a casual, relaxed setting.

Pub Night is a monthly event of The 400 Club, the Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber of Commerce's young professionals group. For more information, contact the Chamber at 678-443-2990.

Inaugural Sandy Springs/Perimeter Restaurant Week to Launch This Weekend

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The inaugural Sandy Springs/Perimeter Restaurant Week will launch at the end of the Sandy Springs Festival on Sunday, Sept. 26 and run through the following Saturday, Oct. 2.

Thirteen Sandy Springs/Perimeter area restaurants will participate in Restaurant Week, and each will offer diners a three-course menu ranging in price from $15 to $35.

"We wanted to do something to help our restaurant members in this tough economic climate," said Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber of Commerce president Sheri Wilburn. "We looked around at what other communities were doing, and a restaurant week seemed like the perfect fit.

Atlanta Bread Among Top 5 Healthiest Fast Food Options

SMYRNA, GA -- In the recently released 2010 Zagat Fast Food Survey, which included 136 national restaurant chains, Atlanta Bread received top five distinctions in two key categories.

The survey's more than 6,500 participants voted Atlanta Bread among the top five large chains (places with less than 5,000 locations) in the Healthy Options and Facilities categories. This is the second straight year that Atlanta Bread placed among the top five chains in these two categories.
