SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -- Ten Sandy Springs apartments were damaged in a fire Wednesday morning.
The blaze broke out shortly after 8 a.m. at the Pointe at Canyon Ridge apartments near Roswell Road.
Sandy Springs Fire officials said the fire started in a downstairs unit and spread from there. Its cause remains under investigation.
No residents were injured, but a few pets didn't make it out of the building.
