Photo Gallery | Unmasked: The Phantom of the Flopera Benefit Performance
Unmasked: The Phantom of the Flopera, an original musical parody produced by The Spirit of Broadway, was a smashing success. Woodstock resident and Realtor Trevor Petty wrote the show to benefit First Metropolitan Commuity Church's Compassion Programs, including its Food Bank, Weekly Hot Meal for the Homeless and Needy, the Clothing Closet and other outreach initiatives. The benefit, now in its third year, raised a record breaking $8000 which is more than a 30% increase over prior years. Unmasked was so well-received that The Spirit of Broadway is currently in negotiations with two Atlanta area theatres to produce a finalized version of the show this winter, including an original parody score.
