ROSWELL, Ga. -- A Republican senator from Roswell spent last Friday visiting seven of the best high schools in north Fulton County.
All of the schools -- Centennial High, Chattahoochee High, Johns Creek High, Milton High, North Springs Charter High, Northview High and Roswell High -- are among the top 50 schools in the metro area. Atlanta Magazine awarded the distinction.
"These schools are superseding the barriers of education and have all the necessary ingredients to make the perfect recipe for a great school," Sen. Albers said. "I am proud of the motivated students, great teachers, administration and involved parents and community for their dedication to prepare Georgia's students for the future."
During his visits, Sen. Albers challenged students to thank their parents for all their support, and their teachers for their dedication. He also encouraged them to visit his website and offer suggestions on how to improve both their communities and the state of Georgia.
