Holy Innocents’ reaches school’s largest fundraising goal
SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -- In September 2013 at the Atlanta History Center, Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School (HIES) kicked off an ambitious $22.5-million One School Campaign—the largest fundraising campaign in Holy Innocents’ 55-year history. Now, less than a year later, those ambitions have become reality.
The campus community has reached a campaign goal that will support, among other things, a 59,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art Math, Science and Dining Hall Building. Designed by Atlanta’s Collins Cooper Carusi Architects, Inc., the flagship building is now being constructed by Hodges & Hicks General Contractors, LLC.
Campaign funds will also be used for: renovating the Upper School’s Riley Building; strengthening the school’s endowment in order to attract and retain exceptional faculty; and paying for enhancements to Alumni Hall, which provides much-needed administrative offices and additional space for parking, meetings, and school events.
